Is This Safe?

I logged in on the website and on my account etc to see that it says HTTPS with a red line through it and a padlock with a red cross on it (I'm using Google Chrome) and when you click on the padlock to tell you about the page it says it's basically unsecured.

Anyone else have this? Might use Firefox if I go to purchase anything

Changing browsers wont change the website security.

It doesn't come up after I leave the account area, It's just I'm worried if I was to buy something and I have to enter my details etc

AV wont matter if the site cert is invalid or someone is performing a MITM attack

Man in the middle. Arp spoof and password sniff.

Enables sniffing of ssl passwords.. problem is that it redirects the user to the unsecure site, removing the ssl validation.

AV wont rid of an attack like that.

Edit; this is highly unlikely, but just saying

Assuming the site is safe it's normally something to do with http content (a banner, css or js file loaded from the wrong place) but this isn't the case for anything in our account page.

Perhaps something was cached, but it didn't exist anymore, so it returned a http 404 error. Can't think of anything else other than chrome just being funky.

So would clearing out the internet cache/temp files help him?

I had this with IGIndex earlier too. I assumed it was just Chrome playing up.
