The pc is mainly used for gaming is this the best way to upgrade my system

My current system:
Vista home basic, Asus P5N32-E SLI, E6600 @ 3.52Ghz, 2 X BFG 8800 GTX,
8 Gig Corsair XMS2 800Mhz,Raptor 150BGB HDD, Cosmos S, ACR X223W

If you have £600 to spend, why dont you go for an i5 with mobo and new GPU like a 5850 or something? What about this?
