Everyone saying they love streaming gaming, how do you think that works when there is more than one gamer in the house??? do you have the interent to support 2? 3? gamers that want high FPS and full grfxs???
true to certain extent, though pc will be the pinnacle of gaming for a good while yet, more to gaming than AAA games, then theres you cant use this/that on a certain console, then some games just dont work on consoles. the master race is still hereI'd be willing to say yes, yes it would be okay, I've got a 1gb connection. I realistically get 900mb upload and download. I can now get 5gb in my area.
I've tried it over wifi and accidentally tried it over a VPN and it was kind of ok, it wasn't as flawless. Going forward with faster internet, better wifi etc I don't see why it would struggle to support multiple gamers if required.
PC gaming is only getting poorer and poorer though, consoles are only going to get stronger. Be interesting to see how long it takes for GTA to come out on the PC.

dont play them. if people dont buy them. the devs will either make it for the available hardware that most people have or go out of business. simple. For the majority of people, geforce now is the only option they have for playing AAA games on a high end rig thanks to ridiculous GPU prices. I can see people having no choice but to sub unless they abandon new releases and just play old games.

developers dont optimize the same way they used and it shows often on day release.

Last 2-3 years have been fantastic for gaming for me. Thanks to RT/PT being in most titles, visuals have taken a leap into next gen world and makes the worlds more immersive thus more enjoyable, no more nasty raster ruining the game and ruining the immersion. I enjoy exploring the worlds way more now as things no longer look like a children's pop up book in terms of visuals.
I mean if people want to go back to playing this, then hats off to you

The most immersive games for me have not had RT or PT. For me, those are not something you have in lieu of good writing and or gameplay, I.e they do not cover up slop.
I mean it's true to a, large, point. The funny thing is you haven't owned most of your PC games for like 15 years at this point. People are too busy fellating a fat nerd with 15 yachts to realise that Steam has never been your friend.
All games should come with downloadable installers like GoG but I fear we're too far past that point that it's going to remain a standout feature of a more niche storefront. It's not as if it's hard to sail the high seas these days anyway, I highly doubt it would spark a major increase in piracy.

Nothing will beat a big cardboard box full of goodies but those days are well and truly over outside of £250 special editionsI mean it's true to a, large, point.
That's why I like to buy via GOG when I can because I then at least have them.
Beyond owning them I miss having games in hand and giving the game booklet a good sniff![]()
.The interesting thing is that GOG have a deal with Amazon's Luna cloud gaming service. Hence the only GOG game that's available on GeForce NOW is Cyberpunk (if I remember correctly).I mean it's true to a, large, point.
