You can ring OcUK up with a custom list of parts and they will build it for you as well - I'd do this :)

I haven't actually asked for a custom spec, but I presume it's about £100 for building your system for you.

When I first came on these forums I was looking at pre builds but I urge you to look on YouTube. Type in How to build a gaming rig. A few videos and reading some articles and I reckon you could build it yourself and save quite a bit of money or upgrade the specs and keep it for a grand.

Just a thought, dont want to confuse you or anything. The pre builds on overclockers are where I would buy from if I was getting a pre built

It's the Titan katana overclockerd i5 I also added the 280x and windows 8 OS

Is that going to be a good rig for £1000? I'm losing the will to live lol I've been at it since 7am

Is this the best prebuild for. The. 1000 mark?

is this decent rig? please advise

Personally I would choose the titan scythe which is the next option, change the graphics card to the 4GB GTX 770.

Only because I prefer Nvidia

Mate, how did everyone learn how to build a computer? Pretty much by doing it themselves, there's tonnes of guides on the internet, I highly recommend having a go
