Hi all been looking at the best way to get a gaming rig for a grand I can't build it myself so have been tinkering with pre build options can some one in knower run over this before I order it I can't paste my basket

is this going to be a good enough pc ? its the titan katana. id really appreciate some one with a bit more knowege look over it and give their seal of approval before i pull the trigger on it

Is the ram, cooler and psu it comes with enough?

Upgrade it to 2133mhz for an extra tenner

Cooler is fine

PSU is good, only change it if you intend going Xfire infuture

I haven't actually asked for a custom spec, but I presume it's about £100 for building your system for you.

Because I don't know how to? I know everyone on here can and thinks you should never buy pre build but I'd rather not take the risk

When I first came on these forums I was looking at pre builds but I urge you to look on YouTube. Type in How to build a gaming rig. A few videos and reading some articles and I reckon you could build it yourself and save quite a bit of money or upgrade the specs and keep it for a grand.

Just a thought, dont want to confuse you or anything. The pre builds on overclockers are where I would buy from if I was getting a pre built

Put a 750W PSU in there. 550W is marginal.

Personally I would choose the titan scythe which is the next option, change the graphics card to the 4GB GTX 770.

Only because I prefer Nvidia

Mate, how did everyone learn how to build a computer? Pretty much by doing it themselves, there's tonnes of guides on the internet, I highly recommend having a go :cool:
