I'm looking for a wireless router to share my ADSL 512k connection with my neighbour who has his computer 40 metres away from mine, with several walss between.
I've asked around for suggestions and have been told to look for MIMO hardware.

I have found a Netgear DG834PNUK with WPN111GE USB adapter which are currently on a bundled promotion at £80. Is this the one I should be looking for?
If yes, apart from the router and adapter, what other hardware do I need? Will my current Alcatel modem be of any use then?

The Netgear router includes the ADSL modem so your Alcatel will be redundant. I've heard that MIMO increases range dramatically but I have never had any experience with MIMO so I couldn't really comment on it.

I use a WRT54G router with enhanced firmware combined with larger antennas both on the router and on my neighbours LAN card. This combo seems to work very well but requires some setting up. Maybe someone else can comment on MIMO?

Anyone that sells antennae generally sells other network kit that the shop sells. Asking for competitors isn't allowed.
