To cut a long story short, I recently installed a new bathroom in our house. Took me an age, but I got there in the end:) My last job was to put up the shower curtain rail, easy! But I ended up slipping of the bath and smashed my side on the side of the it. A day later part of the ceiling collapsed in the kitchen. **** myself as I was having a fag at the time.

Insurance sorted and the ceiling has been replastered. Today the decorator has been, bearing in mind he ripped down my wallpapering skills when he didn't need to:confused:

Here a few pics of his skills.

I've not been here, been at work will this gob***** has been taking the ****!
I'm off tomorrow so will be able to offer him some guidance or the ******* door.

/Rant over (Sorry)

:D

i cant decorated for **** but id do a better job than that crap!

I wouldn't bother but he stripped the wallpaper that I'd put up, even though I said to his contractors that they could paper over it. It was better than that *****. I can't go in there, I keep getting really mad.

i would phone him tonight and tell him hes no longer wanted, that workmanship (or lack of) is apalling

I'd be telling the cowboy not to bother coming back and that his cheque WONT be in the post!
My very first EVER attempt at wallpapering was better than that by a friggin MILE.
No I don't want to take over. :D

Basically it was an insurance job through Barclays. Who then subcontracted it out to Asprea, then they have subcontracted it to ANOTHER lot!!!111 Then they've got some dipstick in St Helens to do the decorating. It's taken about 2 months to get to this point:(

The work should have only taken 2 days. But as it's an insurance job he's taking his time trying to get more money out of it or finishing early (Which would explain the workmanship)

Need to calm down or else I'll not sleep tonight.

Don't you mean you need to calm down or the decorator (excuse for) will be in hospital tomorrow!

:D

Whoever plastered that ceiling needs talking to as well, there is no way in hell that is flat!

You noticed that too. Hence the gap in last pic. Gonna ring first thing. One guy who came round asked if it was ok to paper the walls in a horizontal direction as this makes the gaps in the paper "virtually invisible" So they did one half that way and the other vertically.

*BREATH*

Edit: nokinidea I need to calm down tbh, or else there might be a man shaped bubble under the new wallpaper that I put up :D
