Is this the work of a professional decorator??!!!!!!

Im not decorator but whats that green stuff he has used as a filler?

looks kind of like fibre glass.

LMAO, that's just as bad as the person who decorated the coucil flat I live in, literally lapped paint on the woodwork (obviously no prep work was done), and badly wallpaper everywhere.

Luckily I redecorated my room and took some time!

you need to get down to specsavers mate, that's the wall underneath that's green, probably the old paint / undercoat that was on there before the paper went up.

Peeling wallpaper, skewey cut lines. Actually it looks like lining paper? its been put on the wrong way n all. the lines should be top-to-bottom not going accross the wall.

And yes that ceiling isnt flat... is this a private/contractor job?

Tear some of the wallpaper so its hanging at one edge!

"The guy came round, did one wall one way, one wall the other way, missed loads and what he did get one the wall is bloody coming off at one end!"

Is that lining paper? If so wait until he's finished before having a go, it's easy enough to touch in and cut the paper for the gaps.

As for the plasterer, if the ceiling's meant to be straight he needs to be shot.

Did he come in with a white cane and a dog?

That's disgraceful mate, let's see if it improves any when you're there watching him, looks like he just rushed so he could get to other jobs.

Sorry Needlegunner, I know it's your house, but I find that hilarious! :D

I mean i'm hopeless at DIY and I could do a better job. :/

If it is lining paper, then it should be put up horizontally. Either way it looks like he put glue on the walls, held the roll at the top and let it unravel.

This did cross my mind back when I posted my reply but thought I'd go with the flow anyway. :D
See what the bloke does tomor... later

Don't be so harsh on him, he might be keeping some paper back to wrap his presents in.

Don't settle the amount until you are happy, tell him this.
