Is this true about MSN?

That only works if you allow people not on your list to see your online status, so for example, it doesn't work on me ;).

I agree with people who say you can do this when someone has deleted you. I just did a cleanup and most of the addresses I could delete were old ones for people who are still on my list. I don't see why they would have blocked me on their old account, but they may have deleted everyone at some point.

or just use Pidgin.

The original theory does not work, they only have the delete option if they have not yet accepted your invitation.

You get the option to delete someone from that list if they have deleted you from their MSN contacts list.

I have deleted people from here who added me on msn but only spoke to me once, and have then deleted me from their contacts.

That would make sense, as people who haven't accepted you yet don't have you on their lists.

this might be really stupid of me.. but how does that help? :S
it would only work if you have more than one IM rite? :s

No...its basically like MSN...just its not just for hotmail..you can use your yahoo...icq etc accounts to login too...and it shows if the people have you on their msn or not..
