Is this unhealthy, or am I wrong?

yeah, i'm not doubting it..

I have had phases where i've given myself a daily intake of over 3000 and have had 130-150 grams of protein a day.. for 12 week periods. Have to say I was a lil stronger on the bench but everything else I can truthfully say I can still do now, at a fraction of that intake

Folk are just different. When on my protein bump i wasnt putting weight on even though I was working hard so I figured it was pointless. Its a costly business. Now I eat when I'm hungry and not when the clock tells me to.

It just works better that way, for me.

you were probably still not taking enough in, its all calories at the end of the day, if you are using more than you are eating then you wont grow :p
