Just a check before I order the wrong thing.

Just about to order 2x Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan to replace my case fans, however I think my MB (Asrock Extreme 4 gen 3) only has 1 4 pin connector (can't check as im away for the week) and the PWM wont work off the 3 pin ones.

1. Is this what I am after

2. Is this PWM Fan Splitter Cable compatible with my MB.

3. Can I run the Alasa fans which are rated at 600 - 1300 rpm and my cpu cooler fan which is rated at 750 - 1500 rpm off the splitter or is this going to cause problems?

Thanks

That should work, it shouldn't cause any issues having your cooler + PWM case fans all running from the same splitter, but it just means when you control your cpu fan, it will also control your case fans.

I'd be surprised if the E4G3 only has 1 cpu fan header, its asus rival has 2x4pin CPU, 1x4pin Case and 2x 3pin case.

Most modern boards are setup to accommodate a CPU push pull setup, so at least 2 4pin headers should be there.
