So, yes, I bought CoD:MW last week when it was on special offer. Fired it up and tried out the multiplayer today. WTF?! First of all choosing a server is a task unto itself. How the heck do you know what's a good one or a bad one?
Heh. Theres many console players that I work with who would argue with that fact. I keep telling them, I could wipe the floor with them if they ever let them both consoles and PC's connect to the same servers. Why don't they believe it?
As said, practise, practise, practise. One of the best games to practise on is without a doubt CS:S. Find a server called GunGame. Teaches you to be excellent with every weapon.
.. And they have auto aim.
What has Auto Aim?
Meh CSS is **** imo, it's all about headshots, you can empty a whole magazine at someone from a few feet and they still live because it does so little damage and the accuracy is poor. The only way to play well in CSS in my experience is short bursts on the heads. That type of gameplay is boring imo...
At 4 feet someone should die if I spray a mag at them, but they don't in CSS...
So, yes, I bought CoD:MW last week when it was on special offer. Fired it up and tried out the multiplayer today. WTF?! First of all choosing a server is a task unto itself. How the heck do you know what's a good one or a bad one? I just went for the one with the smallest ping which had players on. Then I got kicked - something to do with PnkBstrA.exe - so I had to fanny about on Google determining what was wrong. Had to install PunkBuster services. Never even heard of it before.
Then next thing, I was dead before I could even see the other person. Is this normal? I was on the floor spewing my innards out before I even had a chance to aim. Do you need reflexes in the range of nanoseconds as opposed to milliseconds on the consoles? I thought it was totally barmy and turned it off after 5 minutes.
