Is this wheel repairable?

Anyone know if this sort of damage is repairable? Tyre seems to have held its air.

What's the procedure for seeing if it's useable/ not buckled - get it on a balance machine?

Some skill with metal filler with have it looking nice. Only a balance machine could tell you if its straight. A pro refurber will be able to find cracks and fractures.

that actualy lip on the rim looks fine.

That should be easily repairable providing it hasnt bent it massively in a way the camera cant see.

My old man smacked a kerb on the way home from work last night in the snow. Crossing my fingers everything else is a cheap fix for him - hopefully just a case of new wheel bearing/ hub and the tracking etc checked.

Not great those tyres in the snow / cold are they, great in the summer though.

Tread looks very low too!
