Hehe i suggested roof windows but they were avin non of it

Every working environment has to have a window which lets in natural light.

And 15 min breaks every two hours is the minimum for working with a VDU.

Windows are not a requirement. If that were the case most of the factories in the country would be closed down. There is no legal limit set for the amount of time you should use a vdu/monitor/computer.

No they dont, they do have to have ventilation though, usually from a fan.

I'm not sure on this, I think there are laws. However they only apply to people who sit and work on the computer 100% of the time. Which is very few. Most get away with no laws as there awnsering phones or have to go talk to people ect.

AFAIK there is no legal time limit, but workstations etc should be set out to minimise physical stress etc
acutally, there are requirements regarding workstations, seating and lighting. There are also requirements for breaks but no timing or length is set out
