You apply for a job online...

Half an hour later, you get a voicemail from the agency wench.

She has an interesting name (and an interesting voice).

You google said name and find out that everything online with that name points to this girl.

You find out that she has some 'alternative' interests.

...Do you call her back?

I think you guys are getting too hung up on this... :/

She had an interesting name, I thought 'that's an interesting name' and googled it.

Got a bebo and Facebook profile back and thought 'meh - dull' then scrolled down and found the weird stuff.

Fox - yes, she's a fresh-out-of-uni recruitment consultant. Green as they get and complete scum...Same as all recruitment consultants.

Typical posh-girl-gone-out-into-the-big-wide-world.

PS: Called her back, go to see her next week...

yet, you in a relationship, is googleing the names of women who call you, and then posting on a computer forum asking if you should call her back?

As I said, you're taking this far too seriously. It was a light-hearted observation. I had already called her before I posted (and remained strictly professional).

Remind me in future not to share things which amuse me with you. Waste of luls tbh.

She's into swinging and has done some fetish modelling stuff.

Gonna be hard keeping a straight face next week...How do you talk jobs with someone when you've seen them spreadeagled on a rack?

To be fair, I google recruitment consultants that call me

I usually do too.

I google people I have an interview with.

Got a job once because I googled the guy, found out he was into downhill mountain biking then put it in my 'interests' section on my CV. We spent the entire interview talking about it and a couple hours' googling on the subject gave me enough info to blag that I knew everything about it.

her: "any hobbies"
you: "nothing as interesting as yours...." :D

edit: and i guess you didn't change you CV to match her interests... could make turning up in a suit take on a whole new meaning

I will admit that I expanded the 'photography' part of the 'interests' section to include 'portrait and alternative modelling' and added 'enjoying the company of others in the great outdoors'.

"Thanks for the chat, Nicky. I'll let you know how it goes."

"No problem. Speak to you soon....I'VE SEEN YOUR FOOF ON A DOGGING WEBSITE!"

My tongue gets me into trouble sometimes.

Bit harsh man! We're not all ******* - just 95%. :D
Scum with a nice car ;)

If she or any other recruitment consultant hadn't called to interrupt your clearly important schedule, what would you do when looking for work?

Contact companies directly and be succesful with it. Same as I do 99% of the time.

The recruitment 'industry' is a self-supported evil that is loathed by employers and employees.

And her name is?

Not going to be given to you, you bunch of jackals.

The last thing she needs is a bunch of nerds calling her up and harrassing her.

All we need is one of the OcUK detective squad members to google Newcastle recruitment consultancies..

There are over 200 if I recall correctly.

And she's not based in Newcastle.

Binga.

The characters tend to get banned, unfortunately penski hasn't yet:(

Like I said - use the RTM function if you think I have broken any rules. Or better yet, use the ignore function.

If you don't like what I post, ignore it. That's what the ignore function is there for.

If you're just going to whine on like a bitch with a skinned knee...Don't.
