Is vcore going up from what I set in BIOS normal

On my 2500k I set the Vcore in bios to 1.35 and for some reason HWmonitor reads it as 1.43! So is it really 1.43 because I know i'm not supposed to be running at that and its quite scary, I dont want to kill it in one day

I'd trust the BIOS over a program really.

Tried other stuff like Everest? CPU-Z will probably read the same seeing as it comes from the same people as HWMonitor.

Reset bios and set it back again it worked. Thanks anyway

SB will overvolt your CPU depending on the level of LLC set in the BIOS - be aware!
