Is Vodafone Live! free to use on Vodafone contracts?

As title says, Is Vodafone Live! free to use on Vodafone contracts?

not afaik.

vodaphone live is accessed through a GPRS connection, so you're transmitting data. If you have any of the addon packs then it would be.

for example, i have the £50 add on which gives me £60 worth of txt message, media message or GPRS (i think). not sure of the exact vodaphone prices but i never use it all and i spend roughly an hour a month checking emails on my laptop though the phone.

I have just moved onto a vodafone contract, anytime 200, with a k800i, and it states that browsing the vodafone live site is free.

I think it is (not sure how long for), but just browing vodafone live should be free.

Not a fantastic service, but ok for news/ lottery results/ sport results etc...

Vodafone live is free of charge to browse within the UK.

I'm on the exact price plan.
I was a little unsure if Vodafone Live! was free because it has to be accessed via GPRS and all networks charge for GPRS so i was confused.

I work for Vodafone and can help.

The Vodafone Live! portal on Vodafone handsets is free of charge to browse while in the UK. The only time you get charged in the UK is if you enter a subscription or chargeable area of the service where you will be prompted by a £ sign before entering. Examples of the chargeable areas of Vodafone Live! are services such as Find & Seek, AA Roadwatch and OK Magazine.

The only time you will be charged in the UK is if you use your mobile phone browser to enter a non-Vodafone Live! URL address (e.g. www.google.com) then you will be charged for the GPRS you download. These charges will depend on your price plan. You will be charged for using Vodafone Live if abroad.

I dont know where you got that information on the 'packs', is it on vodafone?
