Is 'waitering' a word?

It seems to be.. but i've never really seen it used. :confused:

It also sounds a bit odd :\

Is this correct?

Temp/Agency work. Various catering-related roles, including waitering at Newbury Racecourse and café work at Newbury Hilton.

I think the term is "waiting", "table waiting" or "waiting at tables" as opposed to "waitering".

Thanks. That's actually an excerpt from my CV but holy overreaction batman! lol!

I was trying to look for a 'proper' dictionary online but couldnt thinkof any apart from the Oxford heh.
