So really, none of your sources are any more valid that my post about them coming out Q1 really. As you cant quote sources.
You tell me whats more feasible to belive atm, a few retailers listing dates, or some mystery posters who claim that Reggies made this big news, without being able to find a link to it thats not against the rules. Because after all, it is big news, so more than 1 site is gonna be showing it.
If you can provide the link, then fine, i'll belive that, but for the moment, the facts remain that most retailers list Q1 07, and thats the only 'facts' we have available at the moment, until you provide a link.

Also one of the top retailers did say that SMG would be out 8th December when I pre-ordered it along with the console, a few days later it was updated and put back to what it is now.

The only reference in that to Mario/Metroid is between March & Xmas.
So pretty much between what i said, and what others said.

Plus it mentions the first online game coming v.soon, Pokemon. So im gonna have to get that.

any games company saying from march to xmas 2007 for a games release in january you should fear the worst

hmmm, the wii has only just been released guys. give it a year. think of the improvements that can be made in the control system, once developers really get to grips with the control system and such. much in the same way that the graphics for the xbox360 have dramatically improved a year later (eg gears of war).

the wii could be a super big hit.

also i was in selfridges the other day and they had a model on display and 2 people were playing that tennis game against each other. anyway one young kid was swinging his arms around and jumping and panting as he was hitting the ball. the other guy was just standing still and just using smalll arm and wrist movements to return the ball (with power and spin). hence u can play the wii in active lets lose wait mode or i am lazy mode. both more active than using say a 360 controller

Ive gone back to the composite cable, although ill pick up a scart, i find that the component on my sony bravia just makes things, well too sharp really i suppose, using the composite cable is like having free anti aliasing

Its not a strange post. Read around, nearly everyone has said how good the composite connection is in regards to IQ. The component doesnt make as big a difference as some make out either.

Christ, the blaze component made a huge difference on my LCD and on the PD50 crt downstairs compared to the composite cable.

Composite is actually well implemented on the Wii, looks absolutely fine on both a normal TV and also my HDTV here.

Same here.
The only difference i could see on my HDTV was that the image was more aliased.

maybe fine on a 32inch and under screen but the bigger the set the more your need component just horrid on my 46 x bravia

Arguing about release dates, hell at least the wii has some good games coming soon, so be gratefull.

Joking aside lets face it no-one knows when the games are out as delays happen all too often these days.

Its a good idea to assume come Spring that a lot of games will arrive again usually Jan/Feb can be rather quiet.

you asked once if i was keen on getting a system.
I never really got into Zelda etc and some other Ninty games so for me, lets see. Id like to one day see a M Kart title and a F Zero one though dont even know if their yet planned.

Mario Galaxy is my only real interest at the moment.
My daughter though would love loads of others and m sure the whle family could have fun with many other games, just im a bit of a selfish bugger so have to see how the cash goes. Triple screen Forza 2 idea has my interest at the mo....
