Nothing wrong with XP
Its older than the hills, but its a tried and tested OS that works and works well.
If its a choice between XP and Win7 then its a given that you go with Win7 EVERY TIME with no exceptions, but if XP works for you then dont let anyone tell you that Win7 will change your life because it proabsbly wont.
Its a similar thing with Vista.
I tried and I tried to go to Vista and for almost a year I failed to get it to run for more than a few weeks before it would trash itself and I would go back to XP, and irritatingly I got Win7 before Vista was sorted out and now Vista works great, so any and all issues with that have now long gone.
But Win7 is almost definitely Vista with a few sparkles.
When I say a few, I do of course man that Win7 is a completely re-written O/S, its half the size of Vista and is EVERYTHING Vista should have been.
That said, while many say that Win7 is faster than vista and so on, its just not quite fair... Since SP2 Vista is every bit as reliable and quick as Win7
