Which one? They never searched when I worked there?

A couple of kids at the youth centre worked at 'Game' and I was shocked to find out that all staff were searched before leaving
NO WAY would I work for a company that treated you like a criminal/thief, shocking behaviour on Games behalf imho!!
Fair enough. But who searches the searchers![]()

At most shops it will be the management searching and they'll have to have their bag looked in by one of the people they're searching. It does seem common in retail, but I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be working somewhere that it happened.Fair enough. But who searches the searchers![]()
I worked part-time security and i had that wand. I was told to search everyone so you dont discrimanate, but i always waved that wond twice over the ethnics.
When I worked in Woolworths we always got searched. One time when some money went missing we even had to take off our shoes.

I know all B&Q stores have a "pick a ball system". When you leave the store you put your hand in a bag and pick out a ball, green = go, yellow = pocket/bag search, red = car search. Didn't have a problem with it myself but they do catch a few people that way. Even though i didn't mind i thought the car search (open the boot and a quick look in the footwells) was going too far seeing as you have left the building.

Are you actually serious? wtf
Yep. I worked for B&Q for 18 months as an electrical advisor and left there to join the new store/revamp team and worked in around 250 stores in total. So i have been to a few!
