And it hasnt put me off, it does inspire, ive spoken to you a few times asking about ideas, and in my next build which is soon i hope, im gonna give it a try. Ive always wanted to try hydrographics so i might test that out, but still need to save for some hardware, like motherboard, memory, fittings for my loop which are not cheap, plus im going straight into acrylic so it should be fun learning curve.
Fittings.....I totally get you on that,you can spend (and I have,trust me) more than what you paid for the blocks.....
Hydrographics look really fun,I worry about the robustness of the finish tho.
You have touched on something that I look for,something new,a fresh angle,it keeps it fresh for me and those that delve into my logs. You should think of it as a 'Zen' thing,I do.
