ISA 0.6% is this right?

I'd advise to stay away from Santander. I have only been with them a year and now got my second problem with them. Transferred £3500 from my current account and it all went in fine, then a week or so later i transfer the rest of my years allowance and they had locked my account and the money was returned to my current account, great  Now my years allowance on my online account is showing as £0.

Looking to change banks as soon as I can as I never had a problem like this when I was with RBS.

Guys most of the ISAs you have stated here do not allow transfers in so there is a lot of mixed messages going to the OP here.

VERY FEW companies accept transfers in on Cash ISAs these days. I know Nationwide do, but the terms of the account are not all that flexible, but not biggie if you dont need access.

ok i made an error im getting 2.6% on my ISA, i calculated it 'after' a recent 'large' investment i made which needs to be in there for a year before THAT can gain interest :)

but 2.6% is still low! i was getting around the 3~4% area before the bank broke the Economy :(

I was getting 6% :(

I don't know why I'm still paying into it really. I guess I'm gambling that the interest rates will pick up in the future.

You can still get 3-4% depending on how long you want it in there and how easy access, how high withdrawel penalties are, etc.

Nationwide offer around 4%, Lloyds TSB is 3.6% on there e-ISA, Santander and others have pretty good average rates. Average in comparrison to the 6%+ a few years ago.

Just moved my Santander to Halifax who do allow transfers in. Getting 3%, overall very satisfied by Halifax.

They are allowed I think its 14 days now to do transfers, when I signed with Halifax they gave a doc explaining the process and how long was allowed at each stage.
One of the biggest issues I faced was finding an address to send it to in Santander, in the end I used customer services address as I could not find the address for the ISA department anywhere.

You can get a little more than 3% I think on transfers, but I was happy with 3%
