ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

Guys, keep it on topic please and keep the religion bashing down.

Yes, ISIS are a Muslim terror group but please try not to tar all Muslims with the same brush.

The Muslims who are as Muslim is I am Christian. (I go to odd wedding, funeral and have turkey at Christmas.)

No problem.

The Muslims who practice and live a normal life.

No problem.

The Muslims who practice, and silently smile inside when they see gays persecuted.

Problem.

The Muslims who stone women for getting raped.

Problem.

The Muslims who abuse children.

Problem.

The Muslims who kill other Muslims or people who follow any other religion for not being Muslim enough.

Problem.

Now replace the word Muslim with any other religion you can think of and that's my stance on the subject at hand, it's pretty universal.

Would be interesting to know if these two individuals, and their support network, were amongst the thousands of parasitical *********** that Merkel invited into Europe and whom were welcomed by the cheering ********.

Well if we are to believe the left, the welfare grabbers coming from Syria are all doctors, scientists, engineers and surgeons, so perhaps these guys are the chemists?

Don't have to put religion instead of muslim, you can put "the people" in there too.

I think some perspective is needed though by a people who visit this thread, look for more

All of those horrible things are discussed in Islam and other Religions and implied it's OK to do under certain circumstances.

Unfortunately for whatever reason Islam is by far the most prevalent in having huge numbers who take that insinuation literally and use it for justification that they will go to heaven.

Again - back to the point that everything has to exist together, demonstrate that will be the case (because all the inter-group wars in the Middle east are based on the negative of that).. and that the religious leaders are effectively stating people should die for their own hidden agendas. Then ask - is that true?

Just heard this now on the radio, don't have much more info, hope its an isolated incident :(

When leaders of an ideology say that followers of it should act in the best interests of the ideology on their own rather than waiting for specific orders and some of the followers of that ideology do so, are those incidents really isolated?

I think that they are not - they are being carried out by followers of a specific ideology for the purpose of furthering the interests of that ideology and in accordance with the standing orders of leaders of that ideology. I think it's nonsense to say that they are isolated incidents.

Your reading too much into my choice of phrase, i only meant i hope this particular attack is just one "nut job" and not something more co-ordinated. Which looks to be the case.

This is the problem with publicising too much detail of the people perpetrating the recent attacks (though its very hard to keep it out of the media, etc. the bigger entities should atleast keep it from the headlines) it encourages the screw jobs who want their voice to be heard to go through with it.

As if teachers didn't get enough holidays without faking a terror attack....

Should be a long custodial sentence, same as crying rape when it never occurred. Horrendous.

Perhaps he's a disgruntled Marine Le Pen voter?

British man convicted of planning Islamic State inspired Lee Rigby style attack on Remembrance Sunday. Sick so-and-so, I'd like to think that prison will be some kind of punishment for him but the reality is that until we segregate jihadi prisoners then he'll be allowed to continue his violent way and recruit other jihadis 'by gold or by the sword'.
