FURIOUS parents have demanded toy-makers Fisher-Price remove a doll that appears to say: 'Islam is the light'.
The £19.99 Little Mummy Real Loving Baby Cuddle and Coo Doll has caused outrage in America where parents say it 'spouts religious messages'.

Distributers Mattel say the toy – sold in Britain – is programmed only to say the word 'Mama' and the rest is just 'gurgling and gibberish'.

They refuse allegations that a Muslim worker has tampered with the voice box – and deny the plaything also says: 'Satan is King'.

But stores in America have removed the doll – and demand that Mattel remove it from British shops too.

There's a video of the American response here;

My ex bought a toy car thing for her baby brother once that said the names of the shapes on it when you pressed them, and when you pressed circle I swear blind it sounded more like **** OFF! than circle

Lol I love how when asked what it says the woman says 'Islamen (sic) is the life'. If she thinks it says that then what is the problem?

Absolute rot. Its simply the power of suggestion, if you have a pre conceived idea of what you think its saying you hear it much more easily.

To me it sounds like random gibberish. ( you can here it on the utube link ).

America is just full of anti islam arab-a-phobes now who jump at shadows. Did you see the news about the mccain conference thing where that woman stands up and says she doesnt trust obama because he is an "arab" and she had heard it in the news. Crazy.

"No, ma'am" :D

Americans probably wouldn't have minded if it were "Christianity is the light"

There's probably already a doll that says that! They do have a point though that it was sold without mentioning its religious preaching - although Mattel have an even better point that it makes no such statements.

Did anyone think instead of 'is the light' the doll said 'Israelite' the first time they heard it?
