Isle of Man

Went out there to douglas for business for a week, and whilst everyone i worked with was friendly, there was somthing very.... 'local' about the place. One of the guys I was working with had lived there for a couple of generations, was apparently still not considered local. Though in the cinema, whilst it was not that great,I was ushered to my seat by a little old lady. Totally different experiance than over here.

Id say go for it. :D

The Isle of Man is a beautiful place :) I have been all over it many times and it's really nice. Not got much else to say really, I should expect living there to be not much different to living on any other smallish island.. If you live in a relatively large town like Douglas then you won't have a problem with the 'are you local' issues ;)

I've lived here all my life (28 years) in Onchan (next to douglas).

Not all of us have freaky disfugurements, but if you go out at night in Laxey or Ramsey it can sometimes look like a set from "the hills have eyes" :D

My MSN/email is in trust if you want to add me for a chat to ask any questions etc.
