Hey all,

Isn't life just a right kick in the manhood at times? Sucks doesn't it?

This weekend I had plans to work the whole weekend on my BMW 525i. It needs the fuel pump putting back in, a damn good wash and few bits and bobs.
So I gave my old man 450 Rand last night to go get my fuel pump back from the shop it got taken to, to get serviced today. He phones me to tell me the only guy that knows where my pump is isn't there. So Monday I have to get it. Thing is I work Moday - Saturday. So my car now has to wait until next Sunday. :(

Oh, and I wanted the ramps off his friend for my car. Was going to get them 30 minutes ago, however his friend is not there now. So thats next week as well! :mad:

But, next Sunday my girlfriend is round my house. I haven't seen her for 2 weeks. So I really want to spend the time with her, yet my var has been sitting for months now and this is the first time I've had a chance to do something to it.

Looks like the car is going to have to wait another week or two before I can work on it.

Now all I look farward to is with my girl seeing me on Sunday, next week..


Life sucks at times, doesn't it? :(

You make your own life.

I am sure there are ways about this minor problems. You just have to think of them.

Fuel pump cannot take very long to fit so can you not do it on a evening after work?

Can you pick up the pump during a break, call the shop and maybe they drop it off or get someone to collect it for you.

If you hate your job then why do you do it?

from what I understand it seems he wants to chill out over the weekend and have a man to man with his car and spend some quality time with it.

Unlucky man, theres always another time.

Just what I was thinking - If thats the extent of your problems mate you've probably got a life that many people would be jealous of!

take a deep breath and realise alls you have to do is phone in sick on monday and enjoy it off fixing your car :D

screw work you could be dead next week ;)
 
more of a ball ache than a kick in them,
but now tell us what use you're gonna make of this weekend now your prior plan has been scuppered.

i suggest you do something other than hang around these forums all weekend with us sado's ;)

One of my friends in the space of 3 years went through:

*Brother died in motor accident
*Attacked by a shark and almost lost his lower leg
*Brother got murdered in his own home
*Parents divorced
*Dad commited suicide

I wish I was making this up, but no word of a lie.
