Isnt Win7 Win Vista but improved?

because we all actually know about PC hardware / software, when we see it reported on TV we know how dire and basic the reporting is. Question is, how dire and basic is the stuff we see reported on but don't really understand?

That is a very good point. And I think the answer is, the reporting on the other stuff is equally not to be trusted or relied upon in a lot of cases.
