ISP+Phoneline options

Currently with NTL which has been utterly pants lately, dropping out etc... so we've decided it times to move over to a new ISP/phone/sky so now the question is which is better; go for a service such as bulldog which offers the phone and broadband connection together or order a new line from BT and then an ADSL connection from another ISP.

Apologies as i know this question has probably been asked multiple times before but i am not in the know with current offerings.

Also... is it possible to keep the current number in both cases? (package / phone+inet connex)

/edit the connection will need to be high usage or unlimited.

does this mean i can get LLU services?

Looking around an i can see newnet seem to be a pretty good offer, no complaints about them that i can see and a 60gb limit seems pretty reasonable, is that a hard cap? or will i just get a bit of a winge if i go over?

Is there anything about them that i need to know? P2P throttling, port blocks etc... ?

/edit just chekced the bulldog site and they say i can get 2mb unlimited 'lite' package for £9.95, what does this package entail? Is it 'actually' unlimited?

...just realised that you have to have a bulldog phone line to get that. Hhmmm.... so how do newnet fair against the rest?

They sound like an Enta net reseller so will be pretty good. I use Enta net personally and for business, a nice company do deal with.

Do they include a modem/router in the setup fee or am i gonna have to source one myself?

/edit just got a reply from their support services, have to buy a modem/router myself :(

Anyone know a good ISP with a free modem/router?

As in the other thread, namesco seem to be pretty good especially if they are on the same network as aquiss but i cant see if its a 1 month contract or not =/
