Anyone recommend a good ISP that also offers phone line?

Im currently with Virgin 50Mb,But i think they are expensive (especially the phone line) and their customer support is no good.

I priced up on Sky too but they wanted £50 a month for their 20mb connection (and they said i might only be able to get 5-11mbps in my area) + phone line.

which again is a ripoff.

Appreciate any feedback. :)

Thanks for replys chaps, ;)

How about O2? Again speed available is dependent on your line but if there LLU service is available at your exchange you'll get the maximum speed available for your line. My experiences of their CS have all been great.

Just checked on their website and according to them checking my location on a 20mb package i would only get around 7mbps....no good at all,I have a 50mb connection atm i couldnt go back to that sort of speeds.

Sky Unlimited is £24.75 (includes line rental).

Ive heard Sky are terrible and they also say i will only get between 5-11mbps.

Dont get me wrong,My virgin media connection is good but they are too costly £38 a month for just the internet....we had to cancel the phone because it was costing us too much with the line rental but we would like the phone back...thats why were looking for a package with a diffrent ISP.

Well if you can only get 5-11mbps with Sky then thats the best you will get from ANYONE.

Your other option is Virgin, who you are unhappy with...

The Sky £25 deal is good and if you are in a Sky LLU area then it's a reasonable service.

The best broadband connection you will get is with Cable virgin, drop it down to the 10mb service like chris suggests.
Sky are no worse than many of the others, I actually had a really good customer experience with them but the only connection i can get is 4mb due to line length. Had Virgin cable since before it was virgin and its a rock solid product i'd bite hands off to have again.

I have O2 and parents have sky, we have no major issues with either of them :)

Is BT Infinity a option which could suit you?
