ISP recommendation please

Could you good people please recommend me a good ISP with good technical support that's as cheap as the Tiscali 1mb Unlimited package that I'm on at the moment for £12.99. Thanks.
 
Got Sky, or any other LLUer (Samknows should tell you)?
How much do you download - you aren't going to get unlimited for £13 a month, unless it's via an LLU provider

Can't recommend them enough. There support is excellent as well mate. One of the very few ISP's that actually call me back when I ask. Even out of hours support, say on a Sunday, I've had people call me. All speak English very well. ;)

1 Month contract as well, so if you have no luck your not stuck. :D

Really enjoying being with IDNet. Had a very plesant experience with them for nearly 2 years now. Had some issues, but like I say, all have been sorted quickly and professionally.

Seems good, costs a bit more than what I want to pay but from the looks of what your getting might just seem worth it.

Very much so mate. I'm on the £24.99 package and I obviously download, etc and I'm on the net most evenings and/or weekends. My peak usage for the month is usually around the 20Gb mark. So it suites me fine. :) But when you login to their website you have all your stats broken down for you, so you can see your usage and it predicts what you'll have used for the month. Very handy to see what your using. :)

I've only been with 2 ISP's before this, one being Toucan and the other being BT. Both are rubbish compared to these guys. BT say my line can only do 512Kbps on a fixed rate. Managing 2Mb on ADSL Max with these people. Had some support through the forum as well and bought a better Router, but I'm pleased.
 
As already mentioned try and find a good LLU provider first like Sky or UK Online or BE.

If you have no luck then go with an Enta reseller.

I did mention earlier that theres no LLU services available on my exchange. I'm thinking about Freeola or Plusnet at the moment, any comments on them. Just had a quick look at TitanADSL and they look quite good, my only niggle is the peak/off peak times.
 
They were amazing a few years ago when i joined them on a 2mbit unlimited packaged. Then they started changing all the packages, putting caps on changing the terms etc without letting people know properly.

After this they put everyone on Max and it went horrible. Sites were very slow to load and speeds were erratic, slow down at peak time. Also they use traffic shaping which can kill your downloads at peak times.

I would never go back to them.

Brilliant service, UK support staff.

I've got the £25 a month home package. Allows 30GB Month on Peak (7am-10pm weekdays) and 300GB off peak (all other times).

I love the service, it's only a one month contract so i can change whenever i want to. The allowance could be mroe (couldnt it always?) but i had tiscali before... disgusting company to be a customer for.
 
I use UKFSN, they are a very good enta reseller. I pay £25 per month for their office 45 package (45gig peak, 300 off peak) and get a nice 866 upload speed. Service has been superb and always get good speeds be it in gaming or torrents etc. I also use their free webspace with mysql, i have some forums running off it and it performs very well.

Cn i ask why you want to pay an additional £5 more compared to the other enta resellers which get better reviews and you are on the same package and network?
