Hello everyone,

I have a Pipex internet connection (which has been migrated to Tiscali without consumer knowledge). Anyway I am not happy with the connection by any means, it is slow and cannot handle more than one device going through it at a time.

I have a Belkin N1 Vision router and there can be upto 2 Xbox360's and 1 PC going through it at one time (busy house lol) None the less I am looking to change to a reliable and fast ISP that also provide the house phone as part of their deal and I am hoping to have some suggestions as to what is a good one based on personal experiences.

I would really appreciate your feedback.

(The connection would have course be used for online gaming)

Thanking you in advance.

i used plusnet in the past there ok , not amazing.
im now on o2 and there amazing. stupidly fast 2mb dl speeds with no bandwidth cutting (faster then when i had virgin fibre optic) and good customer service and most importantly reliable and cheap.

On BE at the moment and I have only had a few weeks of any kind of slowness on my line (when their were upgrading equipment) in about 2 years. The service is superb and my speeds are consistently good and can handle multiple PC's, radio's Xbox etc at once (I do have a nice router tho, not the one they gave me).

I would defo recommend, although they don't do phone lines.

I use Plus.net, reliable connection, good customer service, good value for money, but they are getting popular so who knows if they continue. I'd look closely at the contracts tied into the deals you are looking at and not just price per month on the package.
