Up to 24meg broadband. But would I have to pay a £24 fee? or is it free, to migrate?

Although I dont like the look of there contarct policy...

So effectively its a 3/4month contract?

Entanet are a nice company to deal with. AFAIK they don't traffic shape but do have traffic limits for peak (8am - 10pm Mon - Fri) and off - peak.

The only ones I know are Aquiss and UKFSN. Couldnt tell you if there are any more

Bah, if it really is a one month contract, they can't force you to give 3 months notice (well technically they could) but then they can't penalise you for not giving 3 months notice e.g. with a fine as this would not be a geniune pre-estimate of loss for them, and an unenforceable penalty clause - sorry, they seem to be on shaky ground with that one. Of course this is only a guess without seeing their terms.

I would recommend them. Martin who is the founder has said he will never introduce throttling, and will close subscriptions if it gets to a point that they cannot handle any more. Obviously its not a contract, but it is nice to hear.

I am on be* at the moment. I get a good service from them. 17mb down and 1.3mb up for £24 which i think is pretty good. Totally unlimited aswell.

The 3 month cancellation period is pretty bad, but you just have to plan ahead.

I am with UKFSN which is £5 cheaper p/m than Aquiss and is exactly the same service.

I have been with them for over 2 months now and not had any problems, pings are good for gaming and speeds never seem to vary.

The only problam at the minute is that BT have enabled interleaving on my line (for some reason :confused:

) but they cant turn it back off due to a fault in the system

Anyone else had this problem ?

I just got my mac code of Nildram so, im gonna be off.

Its ethier between Aquiss or UKFSN, im a bit wary of BE*... do i need to pay a £24 connection fee to join them? as well as the subsrciption fee?

I believe that UKFSN are actually more reliant on entanet than Aquiss. I think Aquiss have more control over their service. unsure why but remember reading it somewhere

I think in a nutshell, UKFSN are at the mercy of Enta for all their support and services, whilst Aquiss run everything themselves barring the ownership of the ADSL terminations and maybe routing in and out of the internet.

Yes you have to pay a £24 connection fee. But if you signup through quidco.com you can get it back.

I don't know why you are wary. They have been excellent with me.
