Yes you have to pay a £24 connection fee. But if you signup through quidco.com you can get it back.

I don't know why you are wary. They have been excellent with me.

How does this work?

Are there any catches to this Quidco.com?

Well ive done it, I have requested my MAC from Plus.net after there huge traffic shaping lock down (should have binned them ages ago really)

Now the question is Aquiss or ukfsn

Im looking at the following package:

Office Max 45 45GB 300GB £32.99 (inc VAT) From Aquiss
Office MAX 45 45 GB 300 GB £29.38 (incl VAT) From ukfsn

As far as I can see the two services are the same, but the website for ukfsn does not give much of an impression...Also the Aquiss mentions a contention of 20:1 for the office products...Will the ukfsn be the same?

Which one for the win?

Ace Internet are also an Entanet reseller.

I was with them for a short time, a very good download speed, but they started introducing caps etc, so I left them, but the actual BB service, as regards download speed was very good, but I DON'T recommend them.

From what I have read around a lot of Forums, UKFSN is a very good ISP. :)

I'm going to Aquiss in 2 days. I can't wait. It comes the most recommended of all adsl isp's from what i have read.

I'm also moving to Aquiss, I'm no F2S now and for the past week I've been unable to hold a connection for more than 2 mins. Seems to have sorted out now but I don't want ti to happen again.

Only thing I'm worried about is the many other people also moving to Aquiss, don't want them to get overloaded.

Im with Ntl 4meg at mo and its £25 a month, are there any better out there for me, i want to stay cable as i hear adsl is very slow!

if you want to stay on cable then your going to end up with NTL regardless as they own all the cable net providers, Cable and wireless, Telewest, all belong to NTL.

ADSL isnt very slow, its just heavily dependant on people living near to the phone exchange in order to get the full speed that they are paying for.
