Hey guys hope you can help..

just purchased a 2nd 980ti Strix, (first time going SLI) and not sure if i have set it up all correctly. In The Division im bench marking around 59fps on predator x34 with both gpus at about 50% load. is this normal? i was expecting way more performance than that?

After a little research i found an app called Nvidia Inspector which helps with profiles but i have no idea where to start...

any guidance will be appreciated! thanks

I get about 90-95% GPU1 and 99% GPU 2 on the division. When cards are maxed out anyway. (latest drivers)

So something is not right. Could be V-sync like kaap says.

Make sure to re-install latest drivers completely. Use DDU to ensure correct If you haven't already.

Thanks for the repsonse

ive tried reinstalling drivers

Vsync is off in game aswell is the profile for inspector. however vsync tear control is on adaptive? also its the the same with war hammer total war and other games..

My vertical sync tear control is on standard. Have you DDU the drivers rather than just re-install them?

Seeing as mine are standard settings and somehow different to what yours are.

Don't take this the wrong way but have you have actually enabled SLI in the control panel?

It's something you have to do on first installation and after every driver update, as long as you have then its most likely to be a Vsync conflict between the game and control panel/afterburner(?) frame limiting setting.

Away from PC at the moment but from what I remember the PC load was around 40%

TBH I havnt update the bios since installation, I was always told if it isn't broke it doesn't need fixing!

Yeah I have enabled SLI in the control panel and as far as I can see V sync Is switched off in control panel and Afterburner also NVIDIA inspector profile.

cheers

My base profile

My TC Division profile

Import and apply the base profile. Try the division etc. See if there is any difference.

Ensure V-sync is off in control panel in 3d settings as my profile may re-enable it again.

If nothing import and apply my divison profile and try again.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the help guys

after tweaking the profile in inspector I now have both GPU`s running around 95% and CPU about 60%

I have noticed micro stuttering though even though im achieving 70-80 FPS, is there a fix for this?

I used SLI 980 Tis for a long time and I never once had to tweak Inspector.

Does this game officially support SLI? If so, you shouldn't have to adjust anything. By tweaking Inspector you can easily introduce new problems such as the micro-stutter you mentioned. I would restore Inspector settings back to default.

It really should just work off the bat. Make sure your monitor is at 100hz mode with no frame limiters undermining this.
