Issue with Mac

Hi There,

Would anyone help me pinpoint the issue with my partners Mac?
Issue started when laptop would randomly restart itself but over the weekend it would not boot past the screen as per video below. I have removed the drive to save some crucial files but that's about it.

How old is the machine ?
Honestly it’s impossible to say without seeing it and even then it could need some investigation.
Could be anything from a simple SMC reset to IO board , logic board or liquid damage..
gonna have to take it in I’m afraid
