Issue?

Help!? I put a usb into my new build - it wasn't reconising also it has malfunctioned my usb!? FYI i put it into my motherboard USB 2.0 port also my drivers hasn't yet been installed!!

Ok... i built a new PC right - i put the drivers onto a USB to install into my new unit and it fried my USB and now when i put it into my current PC it says it malfunctioned......

Nope, but the USB got extremely hot - the light indicator on the usb show it active never appeared and know when i plug my usb into my current pc i am using which i transfered the drivers it says " please consult with your device manufacturers for assistance getting this drive installed" because it failed...?

I know my USB stick has died, but i just want to know will my new build short out every USB stick ill put into the unit?
