I've reached my limit as I've tried this about 10 times now.
I click the upgrade to windows 10 button (I'm using Windows 8.1) there's 42gb left on my SSD and one would assume it wouldn't need all of that as it's an upgrade.
I get the black screen with a progress. After a while it then just has the black screen but the monitor will stay on as you can tell by the edges but no image... no cursor etc.
I've left it twice before, once for 2 days without anything.
No flickering on the HDD light.... so it would seem I cannot upgrade?!
Yet my basic laptop did it in one go....on its own?
