Issues with F@H since 'upgrading' GPU

Hi all,
I have just 'upgraded' my GPU to the 6970 DCII and now i can't get any work units :-/
If i look at the advanced viewer it says:
ID 00 STATUS Ready DESCRIPTION cpu:1
ID 01 STATUS Failed DESCRIPTION gpu:0:Cayman XT [Radeon HD 6900 Series]

it may just be coincidence but is anyone else getting this too?

Server is giving out wu`s for nvidia ok atm, no problems.

I don't Fold very often but having looked at your log it does show that you are getting some work for your GPU.

The bad news is that all the ones it gets error out immediately they start...

A quick search would suggest that this is a driver error, I'd suggest a completely clean install of the video drivers but whether it needs to be the newest drivers or a specific version of older drivers I couldn't say.

So an update, Like you said i have fully uninstalled the drivers and CCC, tested things with the windows default VGA drivers (because gadgets and firefox was playing up too) and then re-installed fresh drivers.
Now i have a GPU WU running (despite CCC reporting that it is only running 4% usage on my card.)
however still getting errors from my CPU, got no work units for that one.

Is there a helpline for F@h?
