I'm having issues in Debian 13 with trying to install Google Chrome browser in the terminal or installing anything for that matter I get Error: unsupported file or other same type of error when trying to install anything. I ran SUDO update and all packages are up to date.

What are you running to install Google Chrome? Or anything. Post the commands you're running and the full error you're getting.

I tried that and get...
dpkg: error: cannot access archive 'chromepath.deb': no such file or directory.

You're supposed to put the actual path to your chrome :)

So either cd into the directory or do it as a /path/to/chromeinstaller

Something strange happened, when I opened my browser it turned into Google Chrome so even though it gave an Error in the terminal somehow it actually installed and replaced FireFox, I would have liked to of had both FireFox & Chrome but I'm happy with Chrome.

Edit: I do still have FireFox ESR as well as Chrome in applications. Excellent.
