Issues with YouTube?

Anyone seeing/ seen issues with You Tube over this weekend?

Videos load up to about the first 2 mins or so then stop, or the page and video doesnt load at all?

Is it just our house lol?

I've had some issues where the video will play for a bit and then just restart. Quite annoying.

Same here, it's been playing up for a few days, I've had slow internet as well. Checking last night it looks like my speed has been bumped up to 120mb now, maybe it's because they've been changing things?

Virgin media are using caching servers for youtube that's why its so slow to load

You can bypass it via this free proxy service

Had this at work too on opal EFM. Videos play then just error out.

Crappy internet, works fine at home in infinity.

To be honest between work and home connections its been pretty rubbish, anything over a certain time for me doesn't play at all, 4OD doesnt work, but you will sit through the 4 ads but it wont play the actual programme, 1080p playback does not stream most of the time.
Videos not playing the correct time of even displaying the correct time, have had a few 5min music vids display at only being say 2mins 34 secs long etc.

I've had this for a couple of weeks. Thought it was my internet but other video sites are fine. There's a link on google if you search for this issue where you cam enter the youtube video through a proxy which eliminates the issue completely.

Due to this, issue seems to be on youtubes end

Yes i can definitely agree that youtube has been slow. I can't skip and as usual and about a week or so ago it started by videos just not playing, they would start for about 1 second then stop playing. But over this weekend ive had problems where it fails to start and buffering problems and problems where i can't skip or change quality. usually if i have buffering problems i just put the quality to a lower setting and it solves it but that is not working at the moment.

I am on bt infinity 40mbit and I tried via my 100mbit box in france and it has the same problem.
