iStat woes

Hi everyone!

My Mac Mini hasn't been going to sleep for a couple of weeks, which is a bit odd. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but I checked the console just now, and found this:

Even though I unstalled iStat in the official way, for some reason posix_spawn (spawn a new process) is wanting to get it up again - I'm a little bewildered by how to solve this problem and can't find anything upon first googling!

Please can someone shed some light on how I can fix this? :D

Cheers,

EDIT

Just found lots of topics on this just by searching for iStat throttling. I'll try some of the suggestions and feedback which one works :)

Woohoo! The power light is now pulsating! :D

Simple remedy for it - reinstall and re-remove the app. It seems like I installed an older version of the app which was not 100% compatible with Snow Leopard. The console messages stopped being called.

Ahhh! It's back again! :(

I do need help now! Same problem occurs after a restart. (bit impractical re-installing and removing iStat everytime I switch the computer on!) Anybody experienced a similar problem before?

Cheers

What if you have it installed?

Does it still do it? I'm not having any problems with it installed atm.

Get an app called "App Zapper"

Free trial available, but it's worth a shot :)

Logsi, if I have it installed, it's fine, everything works normally, but its only when I uninstall it that it goes crazy.

EVH - nope - doesnt work wiht istat as there is no application icon to drag in :o

Cheers guys so far
