It finally happened!

Cool, good luck with it.

I was really sceptical about the whole thing, but trust me its worked twice now for me (touch wood on the second one which hasnt quite expired yet)

Just remember to ignore everything once you have that confirmation that they have received your PACE delivery. Aparently some forces will send out different letters and even send you a direct letter refering to your PACE statement stating that it is not valid.

send send it and ignore all correspondance (unless it is a summons) I am a bit skeptical TBH, but it seems to work for a lot of people so give it a go, why not.

I Have been in malaysia so they gave me untill the 20th november to send back the NIP, so its decision time.
the 20th november will be just over 2 months since the offence, and I have only just recieved my licence back (2nd class so not recorded) from the other 3 points I got for contravening the white line.

Shall I ring them and tell them I still aint had my licence back from that and see if they will give me annother month? then tell them I have to apply for annother one, then send back pace by which time it will be about 5 months and I wont have long untill time out.

Good plan or a bit daft?

Please dont post if your not going to be helpfull, I know I was speeding and it was my fault I admit that, but to get caught speeding 10 foot behind a dumper truck ( I got the pictures back off them) shows how really not dangerous it is, and I have had enough of the robbing money machines! Get rid of the silly boxes and radar guns and start doing dangerous drivers, not good ones!

Just rang them and he suspended it for 28 days without any trouble. Might have some luck timining it out that will be 3 months by the time that comes off, half way there :-) Then hopefully get annother 28 days when I tell them I'll have to get annother licence as they say they havn't got it and I havn't recieved it back. By the time it comes to sending a pace they will only have a month or so to do me, and then they will write back asking me to return the signed NIP or be taken to court probably, if I dont reply to that it should have a good chance of timing out!

Thats the plan, lets see if it works :-)

if that's the camera that got him then that is really careless :D

no it wasn't in scarborogh, it was on thorpe road in howden (wherever that is) dont think it was a camera either, either a gun or undercover car, they sent me 3 photo's. I was 6 foot behind my dad, who was just behing my uncle, and my friend in front of them, and a dumper truck just in front of my mate. Doing 44 on what looks like wuite a wide open road (really dangerous riding  ). Turns out it was a 30! I was the only one who got done in that pack, my cousin and his mate got done in the same place 5 minutes before us.
