Hi

I'm looking to get into IT support at any level?

I have no qualification, how can I do this.

I'm 27 and a CallCentre TeamLeader at present

Ace, I might be able to help you. How long you been a team leader for?

The company I work for are hiring for first line staff.

Current company = 18months (Nightfreight)
Old Company = 3years (Powerhouse)

Both Call Centre Team Leaders

Relocate? I moved nearly 70 miles and rented a pad for my first IT helpdesk job.

Actually thats what I want to do, ideally I would love to move to Stafford, about 40miles from where I live now.

But anywhere is good for me. Remembering I have a wife and small child too

I did apply for a job within an online hardware etailer, as a Buyer, but I don't think that I have got the position. :(

well I have checked the job centre, reed and a few other agency style places. Not sure of where else to search

If you come work for my company you'll get 30k + for 1st line support. At the moment I'm basically a receptionist. The desk is 6 big at the mo and the recent new starters have applied through Reed, they seem pretty good for IT related jobs.

And what company? and where are you based?

Ace, if you're interested send me your CV. Email in trust. Ill pass it on to my HR manager. The firm is based in Birmingham City Centre, which shouldnt be too hard for you as I see youre in walsall.

You should start on a good salary, about 19k+

Something I should tell you though, if you do decide to work here you'll be working for a law firm, and it will be tough and you'll need to be pretty thick skinned. Thats generally the case though for most 1st line roles.

Done matey
