I work in IT and don't know an awful lot about Vista... spect I'll find out when the management decide they want it deployed to 1400 machines around the business in a week's time (after it's released of course!)

I cant remember it exactly but i think its called Extreme Tech, that was always pretty good.

Also, check the manufacturers sites regularly - microsoft & cisco's sites both update with all their new kit and make some good reading.

heck, any Uni CS course worth its salt will avoid M$ altogether and have you working on UNIX using Open development tools

Unfortunately that's true. I want to use Windows instead I'm not a fan of linux at all.
