I had to switch to a different channel. Too depressing to watch.

Ok so....

Assads forces are bad, but not as bad as ISIS.

Al-Qaeda used to be bad, but they're fighting ISIS so aren't as bad any more, but are still quite bad.

FSA are the good guys, but unofficially are quite bad at the same time.

Al-Nusra Front are the good guys, but unofficially are quite bad at the same time.

Russia is bad.

Iran is bad.

I think.:confused:

Oh, and ISIS are REALLY bad.

It's an unwinnable mess, whomever is backed by the outside elements still has blood on their hands. It's a question of backing the one's with the least blood. Unwinnable because there will always be those who reject what happens, those who continue some kind of insurgency.
 
Its a terrible thing, but this isn't anything new. There have been plenty of other children reduced to this by armed conflicts around the world. A lot don't even end up this "lucky". At least he and his family is still alive.

People will be outraged for a little while and then will move on and forget all about it. Nothing will change.

Surely there must be some democratic opposition (not killed off yet) to assad?

A no fly zone should have been enforced 5yrs ago. Yes we would probably have an Iraq/Libya situation but it would have been better than the total cluster**** that we have atm.

Yea you are confused.

Al nusra? they're just al qaeda rebranded, its not hard to look up, takes all of 2 seconds.

The only groups worth working with are the FSA, SDF and YPG. Like we are doing.
