You wouldn't be able to stretch its legs. Ever. Fine if you could stick it on a track but where could you ever have any fun on the road? You'd never be able to use it on the limit.

Hmmm, I can see Azza's point. It is no coincidence that james Hunt used to drive around in an Austin A35 van.
He always said that in a fancy Lotus you couldn't access fun handling on normal roads, whereas in the van you could be on the limit at 35mph !
People have go obsessed by raw performance and forget that something like the modern Porsche is still restricted by the overcrowded, speed cameraed raods we have.
The MGB would be more fun on a country road at 50mph than the Porsche would.
