It's why I drive a bone stock 1950's Ford with a hot engineHmmm, I can see Azza's point. It is no coincidence that james Hunt used to drive around in an Austin A35 van.
He always said that in a fancy Lotus you couldn't access fun handling on normal roads, whereas in the van you could be on the limit at 35mph !
People have go obsessed by raw performance and forget that something like the modern Porsche is still restricted by the overcrowded, speed cameraed raods we have.
The MGB would be more fun on a country road at 50mph than the Porsche would.
