IT Manger Game

Lv2 is almost exactly the same, but with room for more servers and more games.
Apparently, Lv3 has a second building with 4 more rooms to look after.

The conditions are unknown. I'm pretty sure its random once you get to a certain performance %. I had to wait several days and didn't get anything.

Minigames give you budget, not sure about company profit. Near the end I was skipping the race one since its slow and boring.

And hopefully the picture should explain better than my rambling :)

Edit: And dave, Ive only had a virus outbreak once after playing the virus game, and that was the first time. Every other time that I've failed, nothing happened, which was rathere awsome :)
 
Ive had it all but the two times i did that. Aww i was so happy i thought i found a bug. Well done for ruining it :( I like to live in my own world!

So there is no new hardware in the second level?

Also do your shares only ever go up? Mine keep dipping and i dont know wht im doing wrong. Every sales person and excecutive has the best laptop and the rest got the best pcs and network stuff etc. Why they going down :S

I had fully specced out everything for at least a week without anything happening. You just have to wait :(
And no new hardware, and the skills are reset :(
 
I dont even think the skills helped me to be honest. Perhaps the high flyer and all taht lot did?

Ive been on maxed out hardware for a while. But i notice there is only about 1 more row of people to go in the production bit.

How many exsecutives did you have? i have 4
 
I don't remember. The rooms weren't all filled up, though.

There are 2 skills to aim for. Firstly, the third skill down the right path, lets you learn skills quicker. Then the third skill in the middle path, since that lets you get a 30% discount.
 
No idea. I guess it reduces faults, as that makes the most sense. However, by the time I got to those, most of my PCs were top of the range, so they rarely have problems anyway.

I'd say that the hardware ones would reduce faults to do with your servers.

I've got all the stuff on my knowledge tree and I only get one or two errors with my 4 Itanium servers now and they're normally 'Spam Filter Update' or 'VPN'

Where as before you'd get mail issues, DNS troubles etc... the more you learn, the less faults you get... that would make sense anyway?

Cheaper Hardware and Learn Faster are the main two to aim for early on IMO.

I think the middle branch (the business style one?) helps you get a bigger percent of the daily income to your IT Budget.

Maxed out on Level 1 seems to get you around 45-48% of the Daily Profit :)

If I make 10,000 a day, I normally end up with around 4,800 or so :)
 
Gues taht makes sence. I just keep giving my staff bonus's and pay rises. Dont know what else to do lol.

Hacker is really easy, as is the new one for level 2.

For the Lv 2 one (can't remember the name) for a guarenteed win, make the first guess on one of the edges. Then when it gives you a number, count that many squared along the edge, going around corners if needed, and click. If you get a number, then either:
a) If you went around a corner, count diagonally the number you have (remember, diagonal = 2) and you should hit the magic square.
b) If it is on the same edge, count diagonally, unless its double the starting number, in which case go along the edge in the other direction.
And if you manage to miss that, you get one more click, and with 3 squares given theree is only one possible position for the error.

eh? i just closed the game isntead because i didn;'t get it lol.

And then i closed a virus game and all my pc's got virus's grrr so now my stocks have gone down sharply :(

Aww i jsut got that sign post game again.
 
GRR on the last bit the server room got it down to 1 square and had 1 second to chooe and i clicked and it didn't happen so i lost :(

Has anyone managed to get their player stressed out?

My stockes went from being worth 150 to nothing :(

Just about to hit Level 3 :)

Got backup stocks of the Centrino Duo laptops & the vPro Desktops for new starters too :cool:
 
Worked out a better method for the signpost one. Guarenteed win in 3 moves.However, I'm goging gto need to butcher my previous jpegs, since I an't be bothered to wait for the game to come up again.

Start in the very bottom square. Cound along the edge the number of squares it says (yellow numbers). Click the xt one in. Then count horizontally the number the sign says, remembering each horizontal move is 2 squares (red numbers). You can't loose :)

I think tahts what he said. I worked it out and have been doing that for a while.

Also yeah im getting back up stocks. Im not sure if i shouild give them all laptops so that when they go for meeting and home they still work their productivity is still 100% or over on eithr onec you ihave top servers so i think perhaps all having laptops is better.
 
What glitch is that? Get to high flyer and you get a bigger budget and i beleive doing the server build race with all core 2 duos increases your budget.



Whats level 3 like, tell me people!
 
I dragged, 'My Man' over to help someone, but seconds before I dragged him I click the "Aquire new skills" button. So he tried to help the person and learn skills at the same time and it crashed...

PS, is there anyway of selling uninstalled Hardware?
