I think so; if you can't pickup the pieces when your No 1 diver has problems then whats the point?
They should get someone like Hulkenburg in that seat

Other than a bit of FIA meddling, a 10 for me.
This has been a horrible race for Bottas' credentials.
I'd love to see Russell in that seat as he's supposed to be extremely quick according to Norris, Albon and Max. Lewis is a beast though. I couldn't see Bottas doing the same if the roles were reversed. Whereas i could see that as something Max would also do.

Also this result proves that despite that Racing Point being an alleged copy of last years Mercedes.... McLaren and even AlphaTauri still beat it

While it's nice to see a different podium, it wasn't the result of a pure race. And besides Lewis coming back through the field in pole sitter at the back of the field shocker after a penalty, it was hardly a race littered with overtakes!

I'd like to see Russell in an RP for a year first; I think he could suffer like Perez did getting chucked into a top team too quickly; but doesn't look like thats really an option; he's probably wasted at Williams although starting at the back never did Alonso any harm

That was a great finish! Really pleased for Pierre, with today and the P2 back in Brazil last year. To think he struggled at Red Bull and was dumped so quickly, makes me think that more goes on at the big team than meets the eye.

How did Hamilton recover so well? A little earlier and he could have been on the podium.
