Anyone know of any good value Italian restaurants in central London? Evening meal, budget roughly £20-£30 a head.

There's one I walk past every day to uni next to Russell Square tube station that smells amazing! No idea what it's called but it doesn't look overly expensive but looks rather nice.

Fratelli La Buffala in South End Green, Hampstead. You can have starter and main for £30 a head (easily so if you have one of their amazing pizzas).

For pizza I was most impressed with Fire & Stone in Covent Garden

There's a few in the covent garden area, you shouldn't have a problem at all.

At that price, I think Polpo, Polpetto or da Polpo would be your best bet

Bland chain restaurants. You can get better at an independent for the same price or less.

Well, I quite like Pizza Express, their pizzas are good and the quality is good as well. That aside you can also get some good deals thru Tesco ClubCard and discounts.
