Items on WiFi network not talking to items on wired network

Hi folks, hoping I'm doing something stupid here and there's a solution because it's slowly driving me mad!

I've got various items wired into my network setup and if I leave them on DCHP automatic IP allocation they seem to either join the LAN range 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.5.1. Anything on the range 192.168.5.1 talks ok to my iPhone on WiFi which connects to the Tenda mesh system which uses 192.168.5.xx range. Anything on the range 192.168.0.xx is very intermittent as to whether it'll talk to my phone.

Basic diagram below. An example would be I've had to set all the Reolink cameras to static IPs on the 192.168.5.xxx range so I can view them on my phone via wifi, if they're on the 192.168.0.xxx range they won't load. Same with the Sky box and the sky go app, it'll only recognise the box if I set it to a static IP on 192.168.5.xxx etc.

This never used to be an issue until recently and now I've had to go through everything on the network and set it to a static IP which isn't the end of the world but it all used to work on automatic IP allocations so I'm guessing there's a setting somewhere that I need to tweak to make it all just 'work' without static IPs?

Much appreciated for any suggestions!

From the looks of it, you have two subnets and two DHCP servers running on the network (the Virgin Hub and Tenda). It'll be a lottery which DHCP server they pick up an IP from. If they're on different subnets devices won't talk to each other.

Option 1
Leave the Tenda in router mode and put the Virgin Hub into modem mode. Connect everything to the LAN side of the primary Tenda node that'll be acting as your router.

Option 2
Put the Tenda into bridge mode (aka AP mode) and leave the Virgin Hub in router mode. You should be able to leave everything connected as it is.

Either option will give you a single subnet with a single DHCP server. You can then remove your static IPs (actually better to do that before configuring the routers or you might lose easy contact with some devices).

Thankyou so much Bremen! Bridge mode on the Tenda was the solution. I originally had it setup like that which is why I guess I've never had that issue before. Totally forgot to put it back in that mode after hard resetting the Novas. Wish I'd asked before messing around and using statics
